This beautiful Victorian was built in the 1850s, formerly the parsonage to the Baptist Church (now Community Center). Village living, right downtown but off the main street -- close to the General Store, Putney Co-op, Post Office, banks, and restaurants, as well as Putney Central School (only 1 mile up the sidewalk). Well-cared for these past 25 years. Lots of windows, large rooms, high ceilings (9'), open, yet defined, kitchen/dining/living rooms. Laundry on the first floor in the mud-room, with doorknob pegs for hanging lots of coats and jackets. Large closets and lots of storage space, unusual for an old home. "Barn" space with full floor to ceiling windows at one end can be a garage, work space, summer screened area (slider door), or general kid play area for rainy, cold days.
