What I love about the home
Note from seller...
I call my home "Stealth Manor" because, upon entry, first-time visitors are often audibly and visibly thrilled and amazed by the size and interior finish. From the front, they think they see a little cottage. "This place is huge!" is the phrase I hear most when someone enters for the first time. "Oh, I love this!" I hear as I give a quick tour (most people want to see it all when they've been introduced to the home upon entry).
The things I will miss most about living at 4017 46th Avenue SW in Seattle:
* Walks to Alki with gorgeous views nearly all the way there
* Proximity to most everything I need (groceries and other shopping, post office, doctor, dentist, parks, restaurants, golf, farmers market on Sundays, downtown, ...)
* The yard in full bloom
* Breakfast on the deck on sunny mornings (especially when the yard is in full bloom)
* Outdoor living spaces when the weather is warm
* The space to accommodate a party with forty-five attendees
* Never looking for a parking space
* The view of Fauntleroy Cove from the roof (I should have taken this place up a level)
* Cycling from my garage around Lake Washington and back
* Proximity to West Seattle Golf Course
* The water pressure
* Almost never losing power (only twice in 25 years)
